Bulls Sink Boomers, Holmes Kicks Eight

Brad Holmes kicked eight goals and took the lead in the goal kicking stakes, as the Harvey Bulls accounted for a disappointing Eaton Boomers on Sunday afternoon.

The Boomers needed to win to remain inside the five but were not able to do so, and have dropped to sixth on the ladder as a result, while the Bulls put themselves back into the hunt for finals as a result of the 45 point victory, just win away from fifth place.

The Bulls not only led all day, but extended their lead at every change, with Holmes continuing his excellent form having kicked 20 goals in the last four weeks, while Jarrod Bowman was again in the best players list along with Thomas Wood.    Thomas Shanahan continued his good form for the Boomers, who were outplayed from the opening ball up.

Eaton will have the bye this weekend, while the Bulls will travel to Collie in what is a danger game, after the Eagles showed plenty of promise against Donnybrook.
