Dons And Bulls To Contest Hickman Cup

The third Hickman Cup will be held this Saturday afternoon at VC Mitchell Park between Donnybrook and Harvey Bulls, in what already is a must win game for both teams.

Donnybrook ‘The Dons’

Donnybrook defeated Busselton in a thriller at Sir Stewart Bovell Park last Saturday, while the Bulls were on the wrong end of a

Harvey Bulls

thriller at Harvey Oval last Sunday.  The Bulls simply can’t afford to lose on Saturday to start the season 0-2, while for the Dons, it will be their first time playing at home since 18 August 2019.

In the two encounters last season Donnybrook proved too strong, winning by 93 points at home, while restricting the Bulls to nine behinds in the very first Hickman Cup.  The Bulls will need to stop Sam Bevan who kicked five of the Dons seven goals in the opening round if they are to cause an upset win.

It will be the Bulls 200th Home and Away game in the clubs SWFL History.

The League fixture commences at 3.00pm
