Defending Premiers, Donnybrook, are one step away from being able to defend their title after they eliminated Bunbury from the SWFL Finals a week after downing Augusta Margaret River.
The Dons held a seven point lead at the first change, and an eight point lead at half time, with the very big crowd witnessing a very tight contest. Two goals separated the teams at the final change, with the Bulldogs fighting back in a thrilling last quarter, hitting the front momentarily before the Dons kicked the final two goals of a gripping encounter.
Donnybrook who finished fifth have now dispensed with the fourth and third placed teams, and will now focus on Eaton Boomers at Hands Oval next Sunday.

In the other games at Payne Park, Bunbury advanced to the Womens Grand Final, defeating Harvey Bulls by nine points after the margin was two points at three quarter time. Bunbury will now play South Bunbury in Sundays decider.
After an even first quarter, Eaton Boomers got the better of South Bunbury in the Reserves First Semi Final, winning by 38 points. The Boomers will now play Harvey Brunswick Leschenault in the Preliminary Final.
The Colts First Semi Final saw Eaton Boomers lead until the final quarter, but South Bunbury kicked six goals to one in the final term to win by twenty two points, with the Tigers advancing to the Preliminary Final where they will meet Busselton.
