Twenty five year old Field Umpire, Aaron Andrews, will officiate his 150th League Game this Saturday evening when he adjudicates on the Eaton Boomers v Harvey Brunswick Leschenault match, at Brunswick Oval.
Andrews made his debut on 21 April 2012, and has quickly racked up 150 League games. Initially a Boundary
Umpire between 2006 and 2011, he umpired 80 games on the Boundary before changing disciplines.
Currently the 21st most experienced field umpire ever to umpire in the SWFL, Saturday will be Andrew’s 212th appearance as a Field Umpire, and in the weeks ahead he will surpass Ian Reynolds (213), Ken Sabourne (217) and Darren Kenny (219) for total games officiated.
A two times League Grand Final Umpire, he also has represented WA Country Football twice, including umpiring on Adelaide Oval last year.
