Tigers Win A Close One

South Bunbury bounced back to winning form after their shock loss to Harvey Bulls in round five, when they defeated Eaton Boomers by six points at Glen Huon Reserve on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers bounced out of the blocks early, an ultimately the first quarter made the difference, kicking four goals to one.

The Boomers responded in the second quarter but squander some opportunities and trailed by fourteen points at the main break.

In the third quarter the home team started well, and had the crowd up and about as they momentarily hit the front, before the Tigers kicked the final two goals of the quarter to lead by thirteen points at the final break.
