The final game of round four in the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL premiership season will be between Eaton and Harvey Bulls, with both teams coming off a loss in their last match.
Eaton, who were pummeled in their opening two fixtures, gave a great account of themselves against South Bunbury, leading until midway through the third term, ultimately losing by just 27 points. In a match that was played in wet conditions, Harvey Bulls played a tough match against the reigning premiers and remained within two goals all day, losing by 8 points in a tight encounter.
The massive turnaround is pleasing and Greg Humphries is leading the charge, playing two great games for the Bulls, and he will again be needed if the Boomers are to get over the Bulls. Former Collie Eagle, Paul Rinder, rucked tirelessly for the Boomers last week against South Bunbury, and put in his best game to date for his new club.
The Bulls, have a strong midfield brigade which has been added to this season by the inclusion of Sam Lewis, and Eaton will need to keep that core group of players in the midfield quiet if they are to take the four points on Sunday.
Harvey will be looking to win the match on Sunday, and join potentially five other teams on three wins, while the Boomers can move off the bottom of the ladder should they be successful.
Colts 9.45am, Reserves 11.40am, Women’s 1.30pm, League 3.00pm
