Bunbury have made their way into the Reserves Grand Final, after a twenty point win over Harvey Brunswick Leschenault at Hands Memorial Oval on Sunday afternoon.
The Lions, who were the minor premiers, were under enormous pressure in the first quarter, as Bunbury kicked five goals to one, to lead by 24 points at quarter time.
In a dour second quarter there was only one goal kicked with Bunbury leading by 29 points at the main break. The Lions rallied in the third quarter, getting within eleven points and look likely to run over the top of the Bulldogs in the last quarter, but the Bulldogs settled, and made their way into the Grand Final where they will play Busselton, with neither team having played each other in a Reserves Grand Final this century.
Michael McMillan continued his good form in front of Goals, kicking three goals for the winners, while Jared Lines and Ben Hazelwood were amongst the best. Towering Jaydon Wilson kicked two goals for the Lions, with Jamie Crane playing a good game.
