A Win On Offer For Sharks And Eagles

Dunsborough’s League team will play their second game at home on Sunday, and after two very promising performances against Busselton and South Bunbury, the Sharks will be confident of a historic victory on Sunday.

Their opponents will be the Collie Eagles, who have been highly competitive but are yet to win, having losses against South Bunbury by 38 points, Harvey Bulls by 51 points, Carey Park 43 points and last night the Eagles lost by 39 points to Bunbury.  In all matches Collie matched the opposition for a half or three quarters, but one bad quarter has let them down.

Conversely, after a 100 point loss to Donnybrook in the Sharks opening match, they were super impressive against Busselton, losing by 37 points and last Sunday by 39 points to South Bunbury, who only took the lead in the match late in the third term.

Daniel Atkinson played a great game against the Tigers and will be one player Collie will need to stop, along with Pat McGinnity who has been an outstanding acquisition for the Sharks this season.     Cameron Davidson and Teale DeAngelis have been amongst Collie’s best all season, and will be two players the Sharks will been to watch out for, while veteran Adam Bignell continues to gain plenty of possessions.

Collie won’t want to be the first team to lose to the Sharks, while the Sharks will be desperate to get the four points in front of their home fans.   As a result this should be a great match at the Dunsborough Playing Fields on Sunday.
