Battle Of The Birds At Busselton

The Magpies and the Eagles will do battle at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Saturday afternoon, in round ten of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.

Busselton sit on top of the ladder with a very healthy percentage, courtesy of the most potent forward line in the League, with Liam Creighton (27 goals), Ryan Ekert (25) and Mitchell Cameron (20) sitting first, second and seventh in the goal kicking standings.

Busselton are also coming off the bye, so will be fresh for the contest against Collie, who despite sitting tenth on the ladder, have shown good form, but have just struggled in final terms to convert opportunities.   When in front of goals the Eagles are one of the most accurate, having scored 10.2.62 last weekend, along with 16.4.100 against Eaton in round six.

Despite being on top of the ladder (on percentage), Busselton will be wary of Collie, with games against Dunsborough (away), Bunbury (away) and Augusta Margaret River (home) to come in the month of June.  Collie are at the start of a three match away stretch, with matches against AMR and HBL to follow.

The League match commences at 2.10pm
