Boomers And Bulls Desperate For Four Points

Harvey Bulls are the only team not to win a game after three rounds, and are eyeing of the round four clash with Eaton as a match they must win, when the two teams play on Sunday at Glen Huon Reserve.

The Bulls played their best football of the season in last weeks encounter with Bunbury, and despite losing, the Bulls showed plenty to suggest they will be highly competitive in 2024.

Eaton after defeating Collie in the opening round, have lost to Dunsborough in a thriller and to the Hawks in round three, to have the one win.  The Bulls won the last contest by 58 points, and have won the last three, and will be hoping to replicate that form this week.

A concern for both coaches will be their teams in ability to kick a big score, with Eaton kicking just 22 goals in three games, while the Bulls have managed just eighteen.  Jordan Strahan showed what he is capable of in last weeks encounter with Bunbury kicking five goals for the Bulls, making his a potential threat for the Boomers backline.  Meanwhile, Harvey will need to sway the possessions of Greg Humphries and ruck dominance of Paul Rinder.

The match commences at 2.40pm on Sunday.
