Bulldogs Too Strong For Hawks

Bunbury have convincingly won the Solahart Reserves First Semi Final, defeating Augusta Margaret River at Kelly Park on Sunday afternoon by 53 points.

The win was set up in the first half where the Bulldogs kicked nine goals to one, to set up a match winning lead.

When Scott Doncon kicked the Bulldogs fourth on the stroke of quarter time the margin was twenty points, but the Bulldogs kicked five goals to nil in the second quarter to blow the game wide open, with two good goals to Cameron Hay and Randall Hodgson.

The second half was a struggle for both teams, kicking just three goals between them with the match well out of reach of the Hawks.

Ryan Babich and Jayme Osiejak played particularly well for the Bulldogs, who will now play South Bunbury in the Preliminary Final at Kelly Park next Sunday.
