The Harvey Bulls will be looking to replicate their round five win over South Bunbury on Sunday afternoon at Harvey Oval when the two teams meet in the final match of round sixteen, in the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Season.
The Bulls stunning eleven goal win, was their biggest win of the year, and they will need a similar result to leap frog, Eaton Boomers (sixth) and Donnybrook (fifth) at the end of the round. Conversely, South Bunbury will be hoping to continue their excellent form which sees them on the top of the ladder with just the two losses, one to the Bulls and the other to Bunbury by a point in June.
One of the keys to Harvey Bulls winning will be stopping the ball getting into the forward line, where the Tigers have multiple players capable of kicking goals, with Jordan Strahan leading the SWFL Goal Kicking with 46 goals, having kicked four goals or more eight times this season. Brad Holmes at the other end of the ground will be a player South Bunbury will also need to watch, having kicked 42 goals to sit second on the goal kicking ladder. Holmes has kicked four of more goals six times this year in what may be a highlight of the match, with both forwards in good form.
With fine weather forecast for Sunday in Harvey, it is still likely to be wet under foot with heavy rain forecast for Saturday, which most likely will bring both teams smaller players to the fore in a crucial contest particularly for the Bulls.
