Bunbury Advance To Reserves Prelim

Bunbury Reserves team have advanced to the Preliminary Final after a thirty point victory over South Bunbury at Gloucester Park on Saturday afternoon.

Bunbury burst out of the blocks, kicking five goals to one in the opening term, leading by 25 points at the first break, and had complete control of the match.

The second term was in total contrast, with South Bunbury getting right back into the match, with Bodhi Nordahl dominating in the forward line, with the Bulldogs leading by just 10 points at the main break.

A tight third quarter saw the margin end at 11 at the last break, before Bunbury dominated the last quarter with a five goal finale to end the Tigers season.

Michael McMillan kicked three goals for the Bulldogs, while Jordan McGinley and Randall Hodgson were amongst the best, with Bodhi Nordahl simply superb for South Bunbury kicking six of the teams nine goals.

Bunbury will now play either Harvey Brunswick Leschenault or Busselton in the Preliminary Final dependant on who loses in the Second Semi Final on Sunday.
