Bunbury have defeated Eaton at a wet and windy Glen Huon Reserve on Sunday afternoon, in round fourteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.
Conditions for both sides were tough after torrential rain hit the venue prior to the match, which would make scoring difficult.
Bunbury would set the win up in the first half kicking five goals, while keeping Eaton to one behind. The Bulldogs midfield was getting plenty of the ball, but scoring wasn’t easy.
Eaton, who have been slow starters in recent weeks, fought back in the second half, kicking four goals to three, but the conditions were such, that it would be insurmountable, with the Bulldogs winning by 31 points, before just the hardiest of supporters.
Trae Field and Durack Tucker continued their excellent seasons, revelling in the conditions, while Jason Carter played well again for Eaton.
