Bunbury will play Eaton on Sunday at PC Payne Park in round twelve of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season, with the Bulldogs looking to consolidate second place on the ladder.
The Bulldogs are currently one game clear of third placed South Bunbury, who they defeated at PC Payne Park two weeks ago, while Eaton are coming off a six point win over Harvey in round ten, with both sides coming off the bye in round eleven.
Bunbury have matches against Carey Park, Donnybrook and Harvey Brunswick Leschenault in the coming weeks, so Sunday’s match against Eaton is an opportunity to consolidate second place, as the competition moves into the second half of the season.
Eaton are tenth on the ladder and face an uphill battle against the Bulldogs who have won eight games in a row, losing only to Busselton in the opening round of the season. Bunbury have also won the last eleven matches between the two sides, something the Boomers will be looking to amend on Sunday.
