Bunbury Looking To Take Winning Form Into Final

Bunbury will be looking to win the final match of the home and away season, and take winning form into an Elimination Final, when they play Harvey Bulls on Sunday at PC Payne Park.

Bunbury and Harvey are both coming off of loses from last weekend, with Bunbury losing to South Bunbury, while the Bulls lost to a red hot Carey Park.

Both teams would like to finish the season on a high note, but Bunbury more particularly would like to take winning form into an Elimination Final, with the opposition to either be Donnybrook or South Bunbury.

The Bulldogs matched it with South Bunbury for three quarters, but a lapse in the second quarter where Bunbury only scored a behind was enough for the Tigers to seize an opportunity.  Likewise with Harvey, they matched it with Carey Park in the first term before the Panthers asserted their authority.

Bunbury won the corresponding fixture by 30 points, and would love a similar outcome but the Bulls won’t make it easy and the midfield battle promises to be a good one, with several players from both sides in good form.

The match commences at 2.40pm, after a vital Reserves fixture which the Bulls must win, or be eliminated from finals by Augusta Margaret River, should they defeat Donnybrook.

Colts 10.45am, Reserves 12.40pm, League 2.40pm
