Bunbury Remain Undefeated

Bunbury are one of three teams who remain undefeated in the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Premiership Season, after they defeated Harvey Bulls at Harvey Oval on Sunday night.

A fast start by the Bulldogs set up the victory, with the Bulls playing catchup throughout the match, as the visitors put on seven first quarter goals, with Dylan Heasman running rampant through the middle.

The home team kept Bunbury goal-less in the second quarter to narrow the margin to eighteen points at half time.

Bunbury kicked six goals in the third term in quick succession to blow open the game, but the Bulls never stopped trying, kicking four of the last five goals of the match to go down by 26 points, before the biggest crowd of the round.

Dylan Heasman was the dominant player on the ground, along with kicking two goals, including one on the run from outside 50m.  Cameron Hay kicked four goals for the Bulldogs, while Brad Holmes, Tyson Powell and Jordan Richards all were targets up forward for the Bulls with two goals each.

Bunbury will return to Payne Park to take on Collie Eagles on Sunday, while Harvey Bulls will travel to Hands Oval to take on the South Bunbury juggernaut, also on Sunday.
