Bunbury Too Good For Lions In Top Of Table Clash

On paper it was the match of the round, but Bunbury proved way too good for Harvey Brunswick Leschenault at PC Payne Park on Sunday morning, winning by 80 points, in the Colts competition of the SWFL.

The margin increased at every change with Ben Frazer kicking four goals for the home team, while Taine Williams who has kicked 47 goals was moved to the back line who were under constant pressure.

In other round fourteen Colts matches, South Bunbury defeated Harvey Bulls by 79 points, and Busselton easily accounted for Donnybrook by 74 points.   In the other two matches, Collie Eagles had a narrow in over Eaton Boomers by 10 points, while a highly wayward Augusta Margaret River defeated Carey Park by 20 points.

Third placed Busselton will host fifth placed South Bunbury on Saturday at Sir Stewart Bovell Park.   Busselton must win to keep third place, as fourth placed Augusta Margaret River have a better percentage and will play Collie Eagles on Saturday.  In the other Saturday fixture, the Lions will play Eaton Boomers.

On Sunday, bottom of the ladder Harvey Bulls will be up against it when they host top of the table Bunbury, and Carey Park will take on Donnybrook.
