Bunbury Win, Matt Martin Kicks Nine

Bunbury have defeated Collie Eagles by 96 points at Payne Park on Saturday afternoon, with Matt Martin kicking nine goals and in the process became the first player in the SWFL history to kick 600 goals.

Bunbury dominated the match from start to finish, although in the first half were very inaccurate, leading by 28 points at half time, although they had eighteen scoring shots to five.

Martin kicked his 600th SWFL career goal in the third quarter, as Bunbury kicked twelve of the last thirteen goals, the second week in a row Collie have had given up that many goals.

Apart from Martin, Dylan Heasman dominated along with Jesse Gribble and Trae Field, while Talan Michael and Teale DeAngelis continued their good form for Collie, who were held to just one goal in the second half.

Bunbury will face Busselton in round sixteen while Collie will host Dunsborough.
