Busselton Account For Bulls

The opening game of round eleven of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL League competition would see Busselton take on Harvey in Harvey on Saturday evening in a game that both teams desperately need to win.

The Magpies proved way to good in a dour affair, with the visitors winning by 40 points, extending their margin at every change.  The opening quarter would see Busselton kick three goals to one, before kicking four goals to one in the second quarter, effectively setting up the victory.

The Bulls showed some fight with two quick goals to Brad Holmes narrowing the margin, but Busselton responded and were never headed.

Liam Creighton kicked four goals for the Magpies, while Holmes kicked all five of Harvey’s goals in a lone hand up forward.  Jason Fish and Jed Kemp were amongst the best for Busselton who will now host Augusta Margaret River at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Saturday, while the Bulls will be at home again, and will face Eaton in a must win match.
