Busselton Get The Points Against Lions

Busselton would get the four points at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Saturday, when they defeated Harvey Brunswick Leschenault by 13 points, but it was a hard fought victory, in round four of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL season.

The match was close and tight throughout, with the margin twelve points at quarter time, twelve points at half time, fourteen points at three quarter time, prior to the final margin of thirteen points.

Both teams were not at full strength, but a fast starting Magpies kicking four goals to two in the opening quarter, ultimately was the difference.

Prolific Reserves Goal Kicker, Beau Chinnery kicked six goals for the black and whites, while Mitchell Tenardi and Bailey Sanford continued their good form.  Ben Ablett and Josh Underwood were amongst the best for the Lions, who played much better than their position on the ladder suggests.
