Busselton Looking To Consolidate

Busselton will be looking to consolidate their position within the top five when they play Harvey Brunswick Leschenault on Saturday afternoon at Brunswick Oval, in round fifteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Premiership Season.

When the two teams last me in round four it was a tight contest at Sir Stewart Bovell Park, but Busselton have really found form in the last six weeks, and will be looking to ensure they down the Lions, to keep the pressure on Bunbury and Augusta Margaret River in the race for the double chance come finals time.

In the round four clash, the biggest margin in the match was 14 points, but Busselton will be hoping the margin is significantly greater on Saturday to boost their percentage, while the Lions will be looking for a strong performance in front of their faithful fans at Brunswick Oval, with the potential to move up a spot on the ladder, depending on the result of the Collie v Carey Park fixture.

With most players having a break courtesy of the Nutrien Ag carnival, both teams will be fresh for the contest.  One player who was outstanding at the Country Championships was Jon Meadmore, who will need to be checked closely by the Lions if they are to cause an upset.

Game Times:  Colts 9.45am, Reserves 11.40am, Womens 1.30pm, League 3.00pm
