Busselton will host Carey Park this Saturday afternoon at Sir Stewart Bovell Park, and will be looking to take the four points, and in doing so, keep the pressure on third placed Bunbury.
A lot of water has gone under the bridge since the two teams last met in round five, which saw Carey Park win at home by fourteen points to claim their second win of the season. The Panthers have only one once since that time, while Busselton who started the season slowly have won seven of their last eight games, and are now fighting for third place.
Apart from a slip up against South Bunbury where the Magpies were totally out-played, Busselton not only have been the form team of the competition, they have played some exceptional football, and have beaten both Bunbury and Augusta Margaret River (twice) this season.
Carey Park lost last Sunday to Collie Eagles, giving them their first win of the season, and it is hard to see Busselton losing to Carey Park, yet this season has proven one thing, never rule anything out, and as such, Busselton will be on guard to ensure they get the four points.
Last weekend the Magpies easily accounted for the Lions, with Mitch Fraser, Jason Fish, Damian Lee and Mitch Tenardi all playing well, and Carey Park will need to nullify their influence on the game, to be able to snatch victory on Saturday.
