Busselton have advanced to their second consecutive Preliminary Final in the Women’s competition, after a dour 7 point victory over Harvey Bulls at Sir Stewart Bovell Park on Saturday.
Neither team trouble the goal umpires or scoreboard attendant in the first quarter with a scoreless quarter, with the first goal of the match
coming at the ten minute mark of the second quarter.
The Bulls did score a goal in the third quarter to keep the pressure on the home team, but the Magpies always seemed to have the answers in defence with plenty of good clearances.
Rennie Meadmore was the only multiple goal scorer on the ground, while Brady Van Wyk was amongst the best on ground. Busselton will play either Bunbury or South Bunbury in the Preliminary Final.
