It may not be music to the ears of Eaton supporters, but that is what is required if Carey Park are to keep their finals chances alive, when they play the Boomers at Glen Huon Reserve on Saturday, in round eighteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL premiership season.
Carey Park are currently sixth on the ladder, equal on points with fellow grand finalists, Busselton, who are seventh, both a game behind fifth placed Donnybrook, who just so happen to be playing Busselton at the same time as the Eaton, Carey Park clash.
A shock loss to Eaton, would see it practically impossible for the Panthers to play finals with matches against South Bunbury (home) and Donnybrook (away) to finish the season.
The Boomers meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back after their large defeat at the hands of Bunbury last Sunday. Greg Humphries will play his 100th game for the Boomers, who will be looking for a win of their own, because if Collie can beat Dunsborough, Eaton would again drop to the bottom of the ladder. It is the Boomers last home game and second last match of the season, so they will be hoping to go out on a good note.
Rory O’Brien plays his 100th game for Carey Park. in what will be his 470th career match which includes matches for both Peel Thunder and East Fremantle.
