Collie Eagles will play Dunsborough on Sunday at the Collie Recreation Ground, in round eighteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League.
The two sides have met seven times before, with Dunsborough having won four times, while the Eagles have won three, but the Eagles have won two of the three contests at the Collie Recreation Ground.
Earlier in the season, the Eagles were big winners over the Sharks, but despite being highly competitive in the last month, the Eagles haven’t been able to snare a big victory. Last Saturday, the home side led for three quarters against Augusta Margaret River before being over-run in the final term. The Eagles will welcome back Jason Carter who represented Western Australia last weekend, who will give plenty of run through the middle, which Collie will be hoping will lead to more scoring opportunities.
Dunsborough meanwhile sit ninth on the ladder with three wins, and will be hoping to notch their fourth against Collie, after having the bye last weekend. Dunsborough were soundly beaten by Donnybrook in round sixteen, and they will be looking to bounce back on Sunday.
Collie have South Bunbury, Eaton and Busselton to come, and will be hoping to take the four points on Sunday, giving the team their best result in recent seasons.
The League match commences at 1.45pm.
