Close Season Means No Easy Games

There have been 55 matches played so far in the 2021 SWFL season, and 41.8% of them won by just two goals or less!

This season so far there have been 23 games won or lost by 12 points of less, 14 of which have been won by 6 points or less, with every round having at least one match where the margin has been 2 goals or less.

Busselton have lost five games by 11, 1, 7, 7 and 3 points.
Harvey Bulls have had a draw, and lost a further three games by 4 points (in succession – rounds, 9,10,11).
Eaton Boomers have lost matches by 7, 5, 10 & 12 points between rounds two to ten.
Meanwhile, Eaton Boomers two wins of the season have both been by four points!
South Bunbury have had a draw, along with two wins by a point, with another by 11 points. The Tigers have lost two games by 6 and 5 points.
Augusta Margaret River have been the most successful in close matches winning by 7, 10, 10, 11 and 5 points and have lost one match by two points.
Finally, Collie Eagles have won three of their matches by 5, 7 and 4 points.
Five of the 23 matches where the margin has been 12 points or less, the score of 8.5.53 or 7.11.53 features five times.
