Collie Looking To Turn Fortunes Around

Collie will be looking for a good showing against Carey Park on Saturday afternoon at the Collie Recreation Ground, in round three of the Dale Alcock Homes South West premiership season.

Captains, Talan Michael and Jaxon Bell have both been in good form this season

After going down in a close match in the opening round to Eaton, the Eagles were soundly beaten by a slick Harvey Brunswick Leschenault side last Saturday.    Jayce Fontana kicked all three of the teams goals, while it was another experienced player in Adam Bignell who was amongst the best.

They will come up against Carey Park who defeated Harvey Bulls in round two, with the Panthers putting together a four quarter effort to win convincingly, with many of their players in form.  Kelvin Lawrence had many possessions, but it was Brian Hughes who stole the limelight up forward, kicking five goals and taking several strong marks.

Carey Park won the last encounter by 62 points, and has won three of the last four matches against the Eagles.   The match commences at 3.10pm.
