Colts Ladder Taking Shape

There is just six points separating four teams in the Colts competition after round twelve of the South West Football League.

All games were played in windy conditions, while some were quite wet, with Harvey Brunswick Leschenault and Harvey Bulls only able to amass eight goals between them, with the Lions winning by 28 points.  In the other Saturday fixture, Collie Eagles kicked their highest score of the season as they inflicted a 106 point loss on Donnybrook.

Sunday saw easy wins to Bunbury and Busselton, while South Bunbury held a three point lead at half time in the encounter with Augusta Margaret River.  The Hawks kicked six second half goals to down the Tigers by 35 points.

Donnybrook will host South Bunbury this Saturday morning, while Carey Park will host Eaton Boomers in the other Saturday fixture at Kelly Park.

On Sunday, Collie host Busselton, and Harvey Bulls will travel to Margaret River to take on the Hawks.

The match of the round will be at Brunswick when Harvey Brunswick Leschenault take on ladder leaders Bunbury.  A win to Bunbury will go a long way to cementing the minor premiership, while the Lions need to win to stay well and truly in the hunt for the double chance come finals time.
