Crucial Clash On Sunday At Payne Park

Bunbury and Harvey Bulls will do battle at PC Payne Park on Sunday afternoon, in the final league fixture of round fifteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Premiership Season.

Bunbury will be looking to arrest a three game losing streak (Carey Park, Augusta Margaret River and Busselton), while Harvey Bulls will be looking to take the four points, so they can continue to apply the pressure to fifth placed Donnybrook.

Bunbury will be without Patrick Farrant (Concussion protocols) and Tyson Wood (Hamstring) for the match, but they still have many good players across all lines of the ground, including Dylan Heasman who played extremely well last week at the Nutrien Ag Country Championships.  Heasman, who leads many of the SWFL awards at the present moment, is one player the Bulls will need to shut down.

Meanwhile, Bulls full forward Brad Holmes has been deadly accurate in front of goals this season, and will be a key to the Bulls chance of victory.

The last time the teams met, Bunbury took the win kicking seven goals in the opening quarter, however, they scored none in the second, six in the third and one in the fourth, in a game that had many ebbs and flows, with the Bulldogs eventually victorious by 26 points.

The Bulldogs, coming off three consecutive defeats won’t care how they win as long as they get the four points, while the Bulls will be desperate to take another top five scalp to keep their finals chances alive.
