Danger Game For Bulldogs On Saturday

On paper and ladder positions, Bunbury should comfortably defeat Harvey Brunswick Leschenault on Saturday afternoon at Brunswick Oval, but Bunbury haven’t exactly been traveling all that well in recent weeks, making this a potential danger game for the Bulldogs.

In the last two weeks the Bulldogs have found a way to win against Harvey Bulls and the Collie Eagles, which is what good teams do, but Bunbury have not kicked more than six goals in their last five games, in fact, just 24 goals in their last five matches, the least amount by any club over the same period.

The Lions will be hoping that trend continues and they will need to stop Dylan Heasman, Jethro Barraclough and Scott Doncon amongst others if they are to do it.

Bunbury will be looking for a strong win to keep Busselton away from third place, with both teams currently having won ten games each.

Jarrod Humphries who hit a purple patch mid season kicking 15 goals in three weeks, will be a key player up forward to the Lions.  The Lions will also have additional incentive to win with Brayden Prentice playing his 150th game.

GAME TIMES:  Colts 9.45am, Reserves 11.40am, Women’s 1.30pm, League 3.00pm

Jarrod Humphries will be a key player up forward for the Lions on Saturday.
