Danger Game For Wounded Tigers?

Collie Eagles will host South Bunbury on Saturday at the Collie Recreation Ground, in round nineteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.

The Tigers are missing numerous players through injury, and several pundits see this as a danger game for the defending premiers, with the Eagles playing some good football, which saw them too good for Dunsborough at the Recreation Ground a week ago.

South Bunbury have been without Jace Cormack, Shaun Crane and Jarrad Fazziolo for several weeks now, with Ethan Nordahl and Kade Wallrodt suffering injuries in round eighteen to add to the Tigers mounting woes.   Despite this, the Tigers still have a very good side who need to win to stay in touch with Donnybrook and Harvey Brunswick Leschenault for the third spot on the ladder and a Qualifying Final position.

The Eagles meanwhile, have a habit of making life difficult late in the season, destroying Donnybrooks finals hopes last season, and will be out to defeat the Tigers for the first time in six years on Saturday.   Matt Michael was superb last Sunday in the forward line booting six goals, with Captain Cameron Davidson also playing an excellent game, as did Paul Rinder, who rucked tirelessly all match and was a dominant player from start to finish, just three of the players South Bunbury will need to nullify.

The League match commences at 2.10pm
