Do Or Die Clash In Women’s Round 15

The fifth season of the SWFL Women’s competition in the closest ever, with the top four, all having won eight games.

The crucial contest this weekend will be between fourth placed Harvey Bulls and fifth placed Donnybrook.   The equation for Donnybrook is simple, they simply have to win.  A loss and the top four will be set, a win and Donnybrook will still have an opportunity to make finals.  Harvey Bulls have their own incentive, a win keeps them in with an opportunity of claiming second spot.

In other matches this round, third placed Bunbury will travel the 3.2km from Payne Park to Kelly Park to take on Carey Park, while Harvey Brunswick Leschenault and Eaton Boomers will battle it out at Glen Huon Reserve on Sunday in what promises to be a close match.

The remainder of the Womens season will see the top teams play teams outside of the top four until the final match of the season, which will see Bunbury host South Bunbury which may well have massive ramifications for where both teams start their finals campaigns.
