Donnybrook Demolish Sharks

Donnybrook have given Dunsborough a ninety seven point defeat at VC Mitchell Park on Saturday afternoon, in round thirteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.

The Sharks stunned the Dons in their first encounter earlier in the season with a thrilling 3 point victory, but their would be no stunning upset on Saturday, as the Dons mauled the Sharks, who trailed by 80 points at half time, and were on their way to kicking a cricket score, having fourteen goals at half time.

The second half of the match was much more competitive with the Dons kicking eight goals to six, but the damage was already done after a superb first half.

Zac Trigwell had a brilliant individual match, kicking eight goals, while Kristian Cary kicked four (nineteen in the last four matches), with Ben Frazer and Clay Jackson also playing well for the Dons.

The Dons strong form will be put to the test in round fourteen when they host Busselton, while Dunsborough will head to Harvey to take on the Bulls.
