Donnybrook Reserves Lose Points, Busselton Back In Five

Donnybrook Reserves’ team have been stripped of their four points from last weekends stunning win over Busselton, when it was found they played an ineligible player.

The SWFL met and took the four points off the Dons, although the score for percentage purposes remained.

This amazing turn of events, puts Busselton back in the five, and now places event more emphasis on the Reserves competition, with Carey Park now vulnerable although they sit in fourth place.

It is possible should Bunbury and Busselton both win, for the Panthers to drop out of the five, although  Carey Park do play Donnybrook on Saturday.

Busselton, who are now elevated back to fifth, will play third placed South Bunbury, and simply need to defeat the Tigers to play finals.  A loss by the Magpies, will enable Bunbury to jump back into the five should they beat ninth placed Collie on Sunday.

There is certainly plenty at stake this weekend as a result of the round seventeen result at Donnybrook.
