Dons And Bulldogs In Crucial Clash

Third placed Donnybrook will host fourth placed Bunbury in a crucial round eight clash of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Premiership Season at Boyanup Oval on Sunday.

Both teams suffered heart breaking defeats in round seven, Bunbury with eleven seconds left on the clock and Donnybrook after the final siren, leaving both teams with four wins from from six matches played.

Aside from the losses in round seven, both teams have been in good form, with both midfields and forward lines firing.  Joel Houghton kicked five goals against South Bunbury and leads the competition goal kicking, while Cooper Clarke-Dehring has kicked 20 goals for the Dons.

The result of the match is crucial with the loser potentially dropping to fifth place on the ladder, should Augusta Margaret River defeat Busselton on Saturday, leaving them vulnerable to sixth placed Carey Park in the second half of the season.
