Dons And Bulls Do Battle At Boyanup

Donnybrook will host Harvey Bulls on Sunday at Boyanup Oval in round six of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL premiership season, with plenty at stake for both teams.

Donnybrook are third and Harvey Bulls tenth after five rounds, but despite being seven places apart on the ladder, the Bulls are playing much better than a tenth placed team, making this potentially a danger game for the Dons at their adopted home.

The Bulls have already played three of last years finalist, along with Harvey Brunswick Leschenault, who have been the big improvers, with their most encouraging performance against Bunbury where the Bulls led until almost the last quarter.

The Dons meanwhile are coming off a big win against Collie, and soundly beat an undermanned Dunsborough in round four, but were also beaten themselves at the Boyanup Oval by South Bunbury.   Having already had the bye, Donnybrook will be looking to grab the four points to stay in touch with the Tigers and Lions who are both yet to have the week off, while the Bulls are still one of five teams on one win, with their next three matches against teams in the bottom half of the ladder.  If they were to swing an upset result on Sunday, the Bulls could get their season back on track.
