Donnybrook will host the Collie Eagles on Saturday afternoon at the Boyanup Oval, in round sixteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Season.
The Dons sit in sixth place, four points behind fifth placed Augusta Margaret River and equal on points with seventh placed Busselton in a tight squeeze for positions in the final five. A win against Collie will see them jump into the five at the expense of Carey Park who have the bye, with the Dons having a very strong percentage.
The Eagles won’t be a push over though, after keeping the ladder leaders in South Bunbury to their third lowest score of the season last Sunday. The Eagles also last season came within a goal of causing a massive upset against Donnybrook, a win that would have knocked the Dons out of finals contention. Earlier this year the Dons won comfortably, and will be hoping to repeat the dose, to elevate themselves back into the five.
With every win vital, the Dons face Harvey Bulls, Busselton, Bunbury and Carey Park in their final home and away matches, with Busselton and Carey Park particularly finding themselves in a similar situation, having to win every game.
The League fixture commences at 2.40pm
