Dons Looking To Move Up The Ladder

Donnybrook travel to Glen Huon Reserve on Saturday to take on Eaton, in round eleven of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL premiership season.

Despite being on the bottom of the ladder, Eaton played some great football against South Bunbury and became the first club this season to lead at quarter time against the Tigers at Hands Oval.  Meanwhile the Dons who are ravaged with injury and unavailability, pulled out all stops against the Lions to record a 15 point win at Boyanup last Sunday.

Both teams have incentive to do well, with a Donnybrook victory ensuring they move to fourth on the ladder at the expense of Augusta Margaret River or Harvey Brunswick Leschenault who play each other also on Saturday.  A loss would see the Dons most likely drop out of the five, if Busselton were to beat Harvey Bulls.  Meanwhile a good showing by Eaton, even if they were to lose to Donnybrook could see them get off the bottom of the ladder at the expense of Collie Eagles, who play Bunbury.

The League match commences at 2.40pm.
