Donnybrook have continued their good form with a 66 point win over Dunsborough on Sunday afternoon at VC Mitchell Park, in round five of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League Season.
Dunsborough have never beaten the Dons at VC Mitchell Park, but early in the opening quarter that looked like that may change. The Sharks burst out of the blocks, kicking the opening two goals of the game, but that appeared then to spark the Dons to life kicking four goals in eight minutes to take control of the match.

Leading by nineteen points at quarter time, the second quarter was a much tighter affair, with the Dons missing some easy shots on goal, which to some extent kept the Sharks within reach. The Sharks in-turn missed some shots late in the term, going into half time trailing by 33 points.
Any thought of a Sharks revival was snuffed out early in the third term with the Dons kicking two quick goals, with Kristian Cary dominating the forward line, ultimately finishing the day with six goals.
Trailing by forty points at the final break, the Sharks managed just one behind in the final term, as the Dons kicked the final four goals of the game to win by sixty six points. Aside from Cary, Ben Howlett who was a late in for the Dons kicked three, while Clayton Giblett and Nathan McCosker dominated around the ground. Ben Scott, Simon Moore and Caleb Stephens played well for the Sharks, but the Dons proved too good.
Donnybrook will travel to PC Payne Park next Sunday in what promises to be a great game to take on Bunbury, while Dunsborough will travel 20 minutes to Sir Stewart Bovell Park to take on Busselton next Saturday.
