Dunsborough Finish On Winning Note

Dunsborough have finished on a winning note, defeating Harvey Bulls on Sunday afternoon, in round twenty of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League season.

The Sharks led at every change, after a tight opening term Dunsborough would kick five goals in the second quarter to lead by 42 points at half time.  The Sharks would be wayward in front of goals, which wasn’t helped by the windy and wet conditions, but ended the day with thirty scoring shots to win by sixty points.

Former Hayward Medalist Simon Moore was the best player on the ground, controlling the mid-field and gathering plenty of possessions, with the Sharks finishing in eighth place with four wins and a draw on the season.  The Sharks were involved in six games where the margin was six points or less in 2025, winning two, losing one and drawing another.

The Bulls finished with two wins for the season, finishing at the foot of the ladder, winning against Dunsborough and Collie Eagles, both by one point.
