Dunsborough Looking To Change Fortunes

Dunsborough will be looking for better fortunes when they play Bunbury on Sunday afternoon at the Dunsborough Playing Fields, in round ten of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Premiership season.

The Sharks were in front during the third quarter of their clash with Busselton, but failed to score in the final term as Busselton piled on ten goals, while Bunbury defeated Augusta Margaret River last Sunday, after trailing in the third term.

The two teams have only played twice before, with the first match ending in a thrilling draw, while Dunsborough led for all but the last ten minutes of their match at Payne Park, going down by five points in their most recent encounter.

Bunbury sit second on the ladder with six wins from eight matches, while Dunsborough are ninth with two wins from eight games.

Dunsborough will need players to step up to replace injured captain Max Paterson, with Paterson exclusively in the best players this season for the Sharks.  The Sharks will also need to find a way to stop Joel Houghton who leads the SWFL goal kicking with 42 goals, courtesy of the Bunbury midfield who have been in great form this season, and have provided plenty of the ball to Houghton lace out this season.

The weather will be fine but windy on Sunday, so the team that makes the most of their opportunities will go a long way towards taking the victory.  This is the only time this season the two sides meet.
