Eagles Looking To Finish With A Win

The Collie Eagles will play their last game of the season on Sunday at the Collie Recreation Ground, when the take on Harvey Brunswick Leschenault, in one of three Sunday matches in round twenty one of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Premiership Season.

The last time the two teams met the Lions prevailed by two points, despite the Eagles kicking more goals, and Sunday’s fixture also promises to be close.

With the Eagles playing their final match of 2022, the team will be looking to go out on a winning note for their inspirational Captains, Adam Bignell who plays his 250th game and premier ruckman Paul Rinder who plays his 150th game.  They will also be playing in front of Collie Saints players, who will be celebrating a 50 year reunion of their first premiership in 1972.

The Lions are coming off the bye and will be fresh, while the Eagles will be looking to forget about last weekends 118 defeat at the hands of Busselton.

The two teams have practically kicked the same amount of scores across the season, and the Collie faithful will be hoping for a second victory on Sunday.
