Bunbury have defeated Eaton in the most comprehensive of fashions, in their round twelve Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League match at PC Payne Park.
In front of a good crowd considering the conditions, it would be Eaton who would score first via Karl Collard, which would then spark an amazing scoring sequence.
Jett Woods would reply soon after and Baiden Parsons put the Bulldogs in front, with the game played a good tempo in slippery conditions. At quarter time the Bulldogs would lead by twenty two points, keeping the visitors to one goal.
Eaton would still only have one goal at half time, as Bunbury piled on seven goals with Harry Creasey, Fraser Gilchrist and Jett Woods all kicking two goals each for the term.
If seven goals wasn’t enough, Bunbury kicked nine goals in the third term with eight different players kicking a goal for the quarter. The only highlight for Eaton would be a spectacular mark by Trent Ross on the wing.
With the margin at 122 points at three quarter time, Bunbury would then kick goals via Dylan Heasman and two goals to Baiden Parsons before Kade O’Dine finally stopped the scoring frenzy, when he converted the Boomers second goal. Bunbury had acquired thirty one scoring shots between Eaton goals, and would kick a further three before O’Dine kicked his second of the term, with Mitchell Roche putting an exclamation mark on the match, kicking a long range goal on the run just prior to the full time siren.
Bunbury had thirteen goal kickers in what was a lop-sided contest.
Eaton will have the bye in round thirteen, while Bunbury will face Carey Park on Sunday at PC Payne Park.
