Eaton Boomers Make It To The Reserves Grand Final

Eaton Boomers will play Harvey Brunswick Leschenault in the Reserves Grand Final next Sunday, after accounting for Bunbury in today’s Preliminary Final.

The Boomers will play in their fourth Grand Final in six years, in what will be a replay of the 2018 Grand Final, as they defeated Bunbury by 24 points on Sunday afternoon.

The match was tight in the first half with only three points separating the two teams at half time, but similar to the Colts match, the third quarter was the premiership quarter with the Boomers keeping Bunbury to just a point, to lead by 15 points at three quarter time.  The Boomers consolidated their lead in the final quarter, kicking a further three goals to win by four goals at the final siren.

The Boomers have been involved in several close finishes in recent finals, losing the Preliminary Final last year by two points, and the 2018 Grand Final by a point, making next weekends Grand Final one to look forward to yet again, after last years extra time thriller.

Jordan Wallam kicked four goals for the winners, while Tanner Allen continued his good form with three goals, with Adam Green playing a great game to be named best on field.
