There is no bigger test in the South West Football League currently than beating Busselton, which is what Eaton will be trying to do on Sunday, in round sixteen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West season.
The Magpies are undefeated, while Eaton are in tenth place with just one win to their name.
Busselton have won the last seven contests between the two sides, including earlier this season by seventy points.
Despite the bye for the Nutrien Ag Country Championships, Busselton had five representatives in the South West team, who all played well, none more so than Liam Creighton, who won the Times Medal for the best South West player of the Championship, while Mitch Tenardi was selected in the State Country side. Creighton is also the League’s leading goal kicker with 48 goals, averaging four goals per match.
Eaton were soundly beaten by Dunsborough at Glen Huon two weeks ago, while Busselton proved too good for Augusta Margaret River, and will almost certainly finish on top of the ladder and host a second semi final.
