Eaton Face Uphill Task

Eaton face an uphill task on Saturday, when they play their opening game at home against South Bunbury at Glen Huon Reserve in round three of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL season.

The embattled Boomers have suffered two massive losses in their opening two games, losing to Donnybrook by 81 points before an embarrassing loss to Busselton by 145 points where they managed just four scoring shots.

In a tough start for the Boomers they face Harvey Bulls and Augusta Margaret River in rounds four and five after this weekends match against the Tigers.

The Tigers themselves are coming off a loss to the Hawks, leaving last years grand finalists with one win, after defeating Collie in the opening round.

Eaton Coach, Chris Kinninmont, will be looking for improvement from his young team who have already had three scoreless quarters in two rounds.  Prize recruit, Paul Rinder along with Greg Humphries will need to have big games for the Boomers to stay with the Tigers.

Meanwhile the Tigers will be looking for a big win, after their narrow loss to the Hawks by eleven points, with Leigh Kohlmann starting the season well up-forward, having kicked eight goals already.
