Eaton will host Collie Eagles on Sunday, in round seventeen of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, South West Football League, at Glen Huon Reserve.
Despite the two teams being tenth and ninth respectively, there is plenty to play for, with a victory to either side almost guaranteeing them not to finish last.
A Collie victory would see the Eagles jump ahead of Dunsborough and back into eighth place, a position they occupied at the end of round fifteen, should the Sharks lose to the Lions. An Eaton victory could see the Boomers go ahead of Collie, dropping the Eagles to tenth should the Boomers be successful.
The Eagles are coming off the bye, while the week previous, they had a big win over Dunsborough, while Eaton are coming off a three point loss to Dunsborough last Sunday.
The last time the two sides played it was a high scoring shoot out at the Collie Recreation Ground, with the Eagles winning by eleven points, while the Eagles have won six of their last ten encounters, along with a draw in 2022.
The league match is scheduled to commence at 2.10pm.
