Fixturing Stars Align For Round Nine

Never before has a round nine fixture fallen the way this weekends fixture have fallen, with teams paired throughout the ladder to play each other in round nine.

On Sunday at Brunswick Oval, top of the ladder South Bunbury will play second placed Harvey Brunswick Leschenault in a top of the table contest.  Also on Sunday, third placed Bunbury will play fourth placed Augusta Margaret River in what promises to be a great match, with both teams in great form.

Fifth placed Donnybrook will travel to Kelly Park to play sixth placed Carey Park on Saturday, in a crucial match with fifth place on the line.  Also on Saturday, seventh placed Busselton will host eighth placed Dunsborough, with Busselton looking to stay in touch with the top five.  Ninth placed Harvey Bulls will host eleventh placed Collie Eagles, with Harvey able to just a rung on the ladder with a win, while Collie could potentially get off the bottom and jump two positions with a strong result.

In the Women’s, second placed Busselton will play fourth placed Dunsborough, while fifth placed South Bunbury will travel to Brunswick to play sixth played HBL, with the Lions having an opportunity to go level on points with the Tigers.

In the Reserves, first placed HBL will host fourth placed South Bunbury, third placed Carey Park will host fifth placed Donnybrook, eighth placed Harvey Bulls host ninth placed Collie Eagles, and tenth placed Busselton will host Dunsborough who sit eleventh.

In the Colts, top of the table HBL play fourth placed South Bunbury, fifth placed AMR travel to Payne Park to take on seventh placed Bunbury with only two points separating the teams on the ladder, third placed Dunsborough travel to Sir Stewart Bovell Park to play Busselton, with only one win separating them, while eighth placed Harvey Bulls host ninth placed Collie Eagles, in what will be an extraordinary round of fixtures.
