Round eight of the Dale Alcock Homes South West, SWFL Premiership season has a genuine blockbuster when third placed South Bunbury, take on second placed Augusta Margaret River on Saturday, 21 May 2022 commencing at 4.30pm.
Both teams have played six games, both teams have won five, and both have potent forward lines and strong defensive line.
So close are the teams, Augusta Margaret River have scored 540 points across six games, while South Bunbury have score 533, while the Hawks have conceded 307 points compared to the Tigers 336.
Augusta Margaret River have played four games at home and won three and lost one, while South Bunbury have played three games at home, with two wins and one loss.
The winner will stay in touch with Bunbury (should they defeat Donnybrook) or move to the top of the ladder, while the loser will fall into the clutches of the chasing pack of Eaton Boomers, Donnybrook and Busselton.

Meanwhile in the Colts match, the ladder is incredibly congested making this a crucial contest. Fourth placed Augusta Margaret River have played an additional game on seventh placed South Bunbury, who have the second highest percentage in the competition. If the Tigers were to win, and based on other results, the Hawks could very well drop out of the top five.
